Academically trained in Andorra, Barcelona, London and Geneva. Valentí holds a degree from the University of Navarra in the Degree in Law and in the Degree in Economics.
Valentí is from the traditionally business Andorran families of Ca´l Rosaleda d'Encamp, and since he was a child he has known first hand the drive in the economic transformation of the Principality.
Valentí has been a member of the General Council of the Principality of Andorra for 17 years, of which 12 years he was the Secretary General of the General Council of the Principality and a member of the Electoral Board.
During this time, Valentí has collaborated with the creation of the Citizen’s Accountant, the Data Protection Agency and the Court of Auditors. More than 6 years is the period in which Valentí participated actively at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, and on several occasions at the Ibero-American Conference, among others.
He has been part of many international delegations representing the Principality of Andorra, and coordinated all the urban work and construction of the new headquarters of the General Council.
He was one of the promoters, together with the Congress of Deputies of the Kingdom of Spain, of the parliamentary chamber of the Cortes Generales of the Kingdom of Spain.
There is no doubt that Valentí is a first-hand connoisseur of Normative and Constitutional development dand the Constitution of the Principality of Andorra since its approval in 1993.
